The 71 mm long head of the knife is made of high-quality 8Cr13MoV steel, hardened to 57-59 HRC, This proven Chinese steel has good corrosion resistance and sharpness retention, making it ideal for everyday use. The drop-point profile of the blade and the special sandblasting process make the knife have excellent cutting properties, plus minor scratches are effectively hidden.
The Kershaw Outcome is equipped with the SpeedSafe assist mechanism, which allows you to dynamically unfold the blade with a flipper or peg, even with one hand. A sturdy frame-lock prevents accidental folding of the blade, ensuring safe use.
Additional conveniences include a high-set carry clip that allows the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket in two positions, and a hole on the handle for attaching a decorative paracord braid.
