A complete Lyman All-American 8 elaboration set for the manual manufacture of centerfire ammunition. Its base is an eight-cavity rotary press made of cast iron with steel components. The press platter allows installation of multiple dies simultaneously and quick switching between them without disassembly. The press can elaborate cartridges of various calibers, including rifle cartridges.
With the press you can remove the old primer and embed the new one, as well as format the shell and embed the bullet. A dispenser is included, which can be connected to the press and automatically measure precise portions of powder directly into the shell. The set also includes a tray for preparing primers before placing them in the feeder integrated with the press.
You can also use the included jeweler's scale with hand-held powder transfer tools or a funnel to weigh the powder. A lubricant with a tray for lubricating the shells is included, as well as cleaning notches for cleaning them. The press weighs more than 10 kg and is made of cast iron, so it can damage the surface on which it stands during operation. To protect the tabletop, it's a good idea to put a gun cleaning mat under the press.
The kit also includes shell preparation accessories: an E-Zee Trim trimmer, handheld shell neck preparation cutters, Primer Tray primer dispenser, Universal Loading Block shell rack with 50 slots, and an ammunition stripping tool. Also included is a detailed "Reloading Handbook 51st Edition" on ammunition elaboration.
