The head of the Emphasis G-10 Black Plain knife has a thickness of 3 mm and a wide, curved Drop Point profile, which provides a great cutting edge geometry. It's made of durable 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, so the blade stays sharp for a long time. The Plain type smooth blade is brought out with a Full Flat Grind. The surface of the blade is finished in a semi-matte Satin Finish to eliminate glare.
The 8Cr13MoV steel used for the blade is easy to sharpen and corrosion-resistant, providing a hardness of 57-62 HRC. This makes the knife easy to handle and durable. A solid cutout in one of the covers guarantees intuitive access to the SpyderHole and the Liner-Lock mechanism of the blade. A metal clip allows the knife to be carried in a tip-up position, and a hole in the back of the tang allows a lanyard or safety line to be pulled through.
The handle of the Emphasis G-10 Black Plain knife is contoured and covered with non-slip, textured liners made of G-10 polymer, a durable material resistant to heat, cold and chemicals. The facings are attached to a sturdy stainless steel spacer, ensuring the strength of the entire design.
