The Diana Airbug is a CO₂ 12g capsule-fueled air gun with a metal bolt action lever, which makes it easy to operate and control the shots. The steel barrel is threaded and has a length of 210 mm, which has a positive effect on the stability of the shotgun's flight path. Under the barrel there is a tube in which the CO₂ capsule is mounted.
The rotary magazine holds 9 5.5 mm diabolo pellets. A single-shot single-loading tray can be used instead of the magazine for more precise shooting. Sighting instruments include a fixed front, and adjustable rear sights. There is an additional Dovetail rail on top of the barrel for mounting a collimator.
A manually cocked lock allows for quick reloads, and a manual sliding safety, located at the rear of the lock chamber, allows the windcheater to be secured while carrying or loading. The starting velocity is 140 m/s with kinetic energy up to 9 J. One CO₂ capsule yields about 40 shots.
