When the two pockets are attached, the capacity of the backpack grows to 26 liters, allowing you to pack for an off-road excursion or hold more of your daily essentials. The resulting layout with three compartments will also allow you to better distribute the weight of your gear, and keep the inside of the backpack tidy.
