Holosun - Closed collimator HE515GT - Titanium - Killflash - QD - Picatinny - Flipback - HE515GT-RD
Closed Collimator HE515GT Titan Killflash QD Picatinny Flipback Holosun HE515GT-RD
The Holosun HE515GT sight features a honeycomb killflash to reduce glare and flip-up covers. It features a choice of 2 aiming points, a 2 MOA dot with 65 MOA circle, and a 2 MOA dot alone. It comes with a quickly removable QD absolute cowitness (1.41") mount. Which allows you to operate the sight quickly, and the absolute cowitness provides a coordinated sight with mechanical instruments.
The collimator is made of Grade 5 titanium alloy, which features more than 90 percent titanium and admixtures of aluminum and vanadium. This alloy provides very high resistance to mechanical damage, weather conditions and corrosion. The mounting system allows installation on weapons equipped with a Picatinny rail. Convenient to use and secured by a locking QD buckle allows for quick installation and removal of the sight.
When properly adjusted, the unit holds zero after reassembly. An electronic control circuit combined with a powerful Super LED make the device high performance and stable, long-lasting operation. The circuit is powered by a single CR2032 battery allowing the device to operate for up to 50,000 h. Version with battery placed on the side of the housing in a screwed compartment.
The sight is equipped with a system of advanced lenses, multi-layered with reflective coatings. This solution made it possible to achieve excellent transmission of visible light. The image visible through the lens is clear, bright and parallax-free. The Multi Reticle System used in the model allows you to choose the shape of the aiming point depending on the situation or the type of weapon it is on.
The model is also equipped with a Shake Awake system to help save battery life. In the event of 10 minutes of inactivity, the device goes to sleep. To wake it up, all you have to do is move the weapon on which it is mounted. The collimator meets the IPX8 standard and can operate in a temperature range of -30°C to 60°C. It has a vibration resistance of up to 1000 G.
Available here are a classic 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle, which is useful for smoothbore weapons, or a combination of them. Basing the display of all dots on a single diode makes it unnecessary to reset the instrument when changing it. The sight has adjustments in 12 degrees - 10 for day mode and 2 for night mode.

The lens on my collimator is crooked, should it be like this?
Yes, for closed collimators, in which the emitter is placed at 4 o'clock, the lens must be skewed to adequately reflect the light toward the user's eyes.
