The Tactical EDC Knife Steppe from Kershaw is a rugged tool designed with outdoor enthusiasts in mind. It combines elegance and functionality.
The knife is made of carbon steel - D2 hardened between 59-60 HRC. It is a steel with high vanadium and chromium content, which makes the knife stand out for its abrasion and corrosion resistance. Its full tang construction means that it was made from a single piece of steel.
It has a solid blade with a Stonewashed finish, made while bathing in grit. The irregular texture masks scratches and abrasions well. Cross-milling has been done on the front and back of the back, providing a stable point of support for the fingers. This provides comfort and accuracy when operating the knife.
Rubberized polypropylene attached to the shaft with two steel screws was used for the linings. The profiled shape of the handle and the ribbing of the dorsal part of the shank allow a stable and secure grip. A hole in the back of the handle allows for the insertion of a cord, lanyard or thong.
Included with the knife is a plastic sheath that allows it to be carried safely both vertically and horizontally. The sheath is compatible with the Tek-Lok mount.
