The Mini Narrows folding knife from Benchmade was made using high-quality materials. The blade has a smooth cutting edge, while the back has transverse notches for finger rest. The surface of the blade has been finished using the Blackwash method, which gives it a matte black appearance by covering it with a thin layer of carbon atoms.
The blade uses CPM 20CV martensitic stainless steel, while the handle uses Titanium 6AI-4V. CPM (Crucible Particle Metallurgy) steel is obtained by repeatedly hardening the metal. Thanks to this manufacturing method, the blade achieves a hardness of 59-61 HRC, which makes it highly resistant to damage and keeps the cutting edge sharp for a long time.
The handle of the Mini Narrows was made from Titanium 6AI-4V. This alloy is obtained from titanium, vanadium and aluminum and is used in the aerospace industry, among others. Thanks to the use of this material, it was possible to obtain an extremely thin handle with high strength. The ergonomic contouring in the tail of the handle and its embossing make the knife fit securely in the hand.
The blade is opened manually with a pin. The Axis Lock, which can be conveniently operated with the thumb, is responsible for locking the blade. On the handle there is a Deep Carry clip with the possibility of flipping it to the other side. In the foot of the knife was placed a hole for pulling a paracord cord.
