The Raccoon Mk2 is a new version of Helikon's popular backpack, which features light weight, practical design and high durability. This model is ideal for everyday use, as well as for basic tactical tasks, where a large capacity backpack is not needed. The whole bag is made of genuine Cordura 500D material, coated on the inside with a layer of polyurethane to increase resistance to moisture.
The capacious main compartment is equipped with a zippered mesh pocket on the front wall and a drawstring adjustable compartment for a hydration cartridge. The tubing from the hydration system can be led out through a patch-covered opening, located behind the carry handle. The backpack also has a large external pocket with an organizer inside for conveniently carrying small accessories.
The backpack's carrying system consists of a padded back, made of foam covered with breathable mesh, and ergonomic suspenders. Carrying heavier loads is helped by a simple webbing hip belt. MOLLE/PALS-compliant webbing has been sewn onto the front and sides of the backpack, allowing additional pockets to be mounted. In addition, on the surface of the outer pocket there is an elastic cord, allowing to carry a jacket or a carrimat.
