The Knife Folding Mini Iridium from Kershaw is a compact everyday tool that combines functionality with modern design. The knife is made of D2 carbon steel. It is a steel with high vanadium and carbon content, which makes the knife stand out for its resistance to abrasion and corrosion.
It has a Spear Point type blade, which makes it more of a stabbing tool than a cutting one. The double-sided thumb stud opening mechanism allows you to open the folder in one smooth motion.
The DuraLock lock used is easy to operate and prevents accidental closing of the blade while working. The lock is similar in operation to the more widely known Axis Lock. This system not only ensures safe operation, but also allows the knife to be folded easily and quickly with one hand.
6061-T6 aluminum was used for the linings, the texture of which provides the user with a secure grip. A hole in the back of the tang allows for the insertion of a cord, lanyard or thong. The knife has a wide and high-mounted clip on both sides, allowing the folder to be carried in a backpack or pants pocket. It complements your EDC kit.
