The RAM Revolver .50 caliber allows for effective shooting training. The second generation is distinguished from its predecessor primarily by a deeper textured grip, the use of the Quick Piercing system, and the replacement of the traditional musket with a fiber optic-based design for faster target tracking. This is the version with an integrated laser pointer.
It has two Picatinny rails - a sub-locking rail and a top rail. This makes it easy to mount a laser sight or collimator. Training and use of RAM markers allows the user to gain valuable experience and become familiar with handling the weapon. Ammunition loading is done through a removable rotating barrel that holds 6 bullets.
The revolver is equipped with an innovative two-stage gas retention system - the capsule can be loaded, but it is not penetrated until a button is used at the bottom of the grip. The revolver can be stored for a longer period of time, while being ready for use at any time. The variety of available bullet types allows the revolver to be customized to the user's needs.
The revolver uses a drum magazine with a capacity of 6 bullets. It is powered by a single CO₂ 12g capsule. The DAO trigger means that the revolver is operated solely by the trigger without pulling the cock. Prominent notches on the metal breech allow for a firm grip when reloading.
