A set consisting of harpener Electric Ken Onion Edition Elite Mk2 and Attachment Grinding Mk2 from Work Sharp. The tool allows you to sharpen EDC knives, kitchen knives, outdoor knives, scissors and other tools. The sharpener is equipped with a sharpening cartridge, which must be turned to the sharpening or grinding position.
The elite version is distinguished by an additional set of grinding belts and a material belt for polishing. Thanks to the versatility of the sharpener, you can easily restore the functionality of various tools.
The power tool has an angle adjustment of 15-30° in 1/2° increments, the angle is measured per side of the blade. It is possible to adjust the sharpening speed. The sharpener is equipped with an electric motor with a seven-stage speed control from 850 SFM to 2590 SFM, which allows both grinding and polishing. Next to the motor's speed control buttons are LEDs indicating the current mode of operation.
The sharpener comes with five belts designed for different tasks. The Extra-Coarse P120 coarse belt in red is used for sharpening and repairing knives. Coarse X65 allows you to shape the edge of the blade. Medium-grained belt Medium X22 is responsible for sharpening knives, while fine-grained belt Fine X4 is used for sharpening and smoothing. The Extra-Fine abrasive belt is designed for serrated and gut hook blades.
The included sharpener has an attachment made of metal to withstand the strain of grinding the blade. It offers a wider angle range of 10° to 35° with 1° adjustments and three convex edge profiles. Belt tension can be controlled by four rollers. The attachment has a 90° grinding plate that can be used for chamfering edges or flattening the back of a blade.
