The TP9 SFx pistol is a fundamental example of the high quality that Canik Arms is known for. The extended magazine slot allows the use of base 15-round magazines, but the TP9 SFx is also compatible with 18- and 20-round variants. The sighting instruments have been improved with fiber optics, and the pin barrel is adjustable.

The Picatinny standard rail, located under the barrel, allows mounting additional accessories such as weapon flashlights or laser target indicators.
