Hammock Tensioner SMUK Dyneema Grey Lesovik
The SMUK hammock cord from Lesovik significantly speeds up hammock unfolding and facilitates overall hammock handling. The SMUK chord belongs to the category called Ridge Line by its function of connecting the ends of the hammock. Impregnated Dyneema line was used to produce the chord. Despite its very low weight at 15 grams, the manufacturer managed to achieve a strength of 660 daN (6600 N).
Thanks to the use of the SMUK chord, the user will be able to prepare the resting place more efficiently so that he can sleep on it diagonally. After attaching the chord, it is enough to adjust it for the first time, so that the hammock will keep its shape on subsequent unfoldings. The process of braiding the chord uses methods widely used in sailing and arboriculture.
The string has a stopper in the form of a bead in the color of the string, which protects the chord from unraveling, and thus from possible damage. The chord is compatible with all Lesovik hammocks, and can be assembled in about 3 minutes. The cord can also be used to better organize the camping area and, using a snap hook, we can attach a flashlight or gloves to it, for example.
