The ESP ExBTO-24HE-KH telescopic baton is a 24" (615 mm) long model, constructed from 4130 Cro-Mo steel. The individual segments have been selectively hardened to a hardness of 47, 49 and 51 HRC for the handle, center section and tip, respectively. This design increases the focus of the greatest rigidity at the tip of the baton.
The Easy Lock system allows the baton to be unfolded with a flick of the wrist or by pulling the tip. Folding is done by pressing a button at the bottom of the handle. Such a mechanism eliminates the need to hit the baton against a hard surface. The tubes are coated with Black Ni-Zn protective coating to prevent corrosion and abrasion.
The ergonomic handle of the baton is made of non-slip rubber. Its profile provides a secure grip even when wearing gloves or with a wet hand. The baton measures 257 mm when folded, making it easy to carry discreetly. The weight of more than half a kilogram provides adequate force and inertia on impact.
