The Tauron 3-24x56 ED spotting scope is equipped with variable magnification from 3x to 24x and a large 56mm objective lens. The optical system is based on ED glass with FMC coating, which translates into improved sharpness, contrast and reduction of chromatic aberration. The 34mm diameter body is made of anodized 6061-T6 aluminum.
Diopter correction ranges from +2 to -2, and a side parallax adjustment allows you to fine-tune the image from 9 m (10 yd) to infinity. The distance from the eye is 95 mm, which allows you to maintain a comfortable and safe position. The included sunshade further improves aiming comfort.
The VTA-7 MIL reticle is located in the second focal plane and is equipped with a six-stage illumination powered by a CR2032 battery. The battery compartment is located in the parallax adjustment knob, which reduces the number of protrusions on the scope's housing and facilitates access. The turret clicks are 1/10 MIL, and the adjustment range is +/- 30 MIL vertically and +/- 20 MIL horizontally. The vertical turret has a zero-stop function.
The scope meets the IP67 waterproof standard and can withstand shocks of up to 1,000 G. Rubber lens covers are included to protect the optics from dust and accidental damage during handling. Also included are 36mm medium profile mounting rings for the Picatinny rail. Due to the scope's weight and length, consider transporting it in a range bag to help organize your gear and protect your optics in transit.
