The Sentinel-X 10-40x50 is a spotting scope designed for use in conditions requiring high precision adjustment and reticle stability. The scope uses a 50mm objective lens and variable magnification in the 10-40x range. Parallax is adjustable with a side knob from 10 yards to infinity. The eyepiece allows diopter correction from -2 to +1.5.
All optical surfaces are covered with multi-layer FMC anti-reflective coatings. The COM-25M target reticle is located in the second focal plane (SFP) and is etched into the glass. This design eliminates the risk of the reticle being displaced by recoil.
Adjustment is made to within 1/8 MOA, and the total adjustment range is 50 MOA in each axis. The scope's tube, with a diameter of 30 mm, is made of 6061-T6 aluminum. The design is nitrogen-filled, fogproof and shockproof to 750 G. The scope meets the IPX4 waterproof standard. For increased safety of transporting the equipment, it is a good idea to carry it in a scope case.
