The SI-SMC-BS-S blast shield is designed for the SMC-Alpha and SMC-Bravo. Mounted on a Picatinny rail, the shield has a mounting rail of the same standard to allow the mounting of more accessories. It obscures the space in front of the thumb and discharges hot gases forward and upward, reducing discomfort and the risk of burns for the shooter.
The shield is made of milled 6061-T6 aluminum, which quickly dissipates the adopted heat. The item fits not only SMC-Alpha/Bravo rails, but also most pistol frames with a maximum width of 27 mm and Picatinny rail.
