The CQG-L model is a variant of the Reptilia CQG pistol grip with an elongated design. It was created for users with larger hands and those who shoot with gloves. Extended by 0.5 inches, the grip retains the geometry of the base CQG model, with a 13° tilt angle and textured surfaces. Attaching the grip does not adversely affect the ability to carry the weapon in a bag to the range.
The beavertail hand guard allows for high hand placement, increasing control of the weapon. The version is compatible with AR15, AR10, SR25, MCX and FN SCAR platforms. It is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon. The pistol grip can be used in short-barreled weapon configurations, PCC and PDW carbines.
