Steel Handcuffs Virola Double Locking Silver Alcyon 5230-X
Handcuffs by Alcyon made of K-70 steel with double locking, with a ground and smooth edge. They have a connection in the form of two Virol-type links, which has a smaller range of movement compared to the classic chain. This solution reduces the freedom of movement of the hands, while not fully restricting them. The clamp has a line of sprockets that enters the body of the shackles, where there are four rows of teeth, giving a total of 22 position locking positions.
Double locking of the handcuffs is based on pushing in a flat pin on the side. When pushed in, it locks the rim of the handcuffs on a given degree of teeth without the possibility of further tightening. Unlocking in such a situation first requires turning the key counterclockwise to then turn it standard to loosen the handcuffs.
For faster insertion, you can push the unlocked handcuff ring toward the wrist. Such a movement should automatically turn the clamp applying it in the locked position and leaving only the adjustment of the tightening in the hands of the user. When doing so, it is important to remember to use them in accordance with training and intended use, so as not to cause damage to the limb of the person being put on.
Once the handcuffs are correctly placed on the wrists, the range of motion of the hands is effectively limited. As a result, the danger associated with unexpected behavior of the person subjected to handcuffing is significantly reduced. The mechanism of securing the handcuffs reduces the possible ways of influencing the unlocking of the handcuffs other than with a key. A dedicated handcuff holder can be used to conveniently carry this equipment.
