A scaled-down version of BC Arms' full-size Warrior Soft K2 ballistic insert. The use of the 15 x 20 cm format made it possible to use the soft ballistics also on the sides of the torso. To carry the inserts, tactical vests or cummerbund belts will work well if they have a suitable pocket for this item.
When designing it, the need for freedom of movement and low weight with adequate ballistic protection was taken into account. At about 175 g, it provides ballistic protection against 9x19 mm bullets up to 470 m/s and 7.62x25 mm bullets up to 420 m/s. At the same time, it is also capable of shielding against shrapnel, and at the same time it will not significantly burden the vest with excess weight.
The soft and flexible design of the cartridge allows it to fit most types of silhouettes. Relative to the calibers tested on it, the cartridge showed a deflection of less than 40 mm, which should minimize negative side effects due to a hit.
The product is intended for the civilian market. Available to adults without permits.
