The P.ID Dual series small arms flashlight with laser target indicator from Holosun. This model features an LED that generates a light output of up to 800 lumens and a luminosity of 17,000 candelas, as well as a laser target pointer that casts a green and infrared beam. The flashlight's power source is a flat-plus 18350 lithium-ion battery.
The battery can be charged via the included magnetic USB cable, in which case it does not need to be removed. In addition, the charging port is located on the side, so there is no need to disassemble the flashlight beforehand. If necessary, the power compartment can be accessed from underneath after unscrewing a separate flap. Below the magnetic charging port is an LED indicating the charging status.
The 18350's rechargeable battery provides up to 60 minutes of low-mode operation with 400 lm and 8500 cd luminosity. The flashlight is activated by a double-sided Paddle Switch located on the back of the housing. Pressing and holding the button will allow the light to illuminate until a finger is released from it, while toggling activates the fixed mode. A separate symmetrical set of buttons is provided to operate the laser target pointer.
The flashlight's body was milled from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with an anodized finish. This translates into increased resistance to mechanical damage, and the use of a number of seals made it possible to meet the IP68 standard. Mounting on the Picatinny rail is done with a spring-loaded clamp. Interchangeable adapters allow you to better fit the flashlight to a particular weapon model. The indicator beam can be adjusted within a range of 60 MOA, by 4 MOA per click.
