Lightweight rain poncho based on another model from Helikon Poncho U.S. Model. Compared to the original, only the necessary elements were left, additionally also replacing the metal eyelets with hemmed webbing. All this is done to further reduce weight, meaning that the Lightweight poncho is specialized in being a hooded cape that protects against rain.
Among other things, due to the optimized design, there are metallic fasteners that allow the sides to be fastened together to form sleeves that will be more resistant to sagging or rolling up. The hood has a beaded drawstring that allows you to hide most of your face inside, so preventing your head from getting windblown. Thanks to the poncho's large size, you can use it to create shelter from the weather by crouching down, for example.
The poncho is made entirely of Ripstop polyester with a distinctive weave. Each of the mounting points has been reinforced to protect against tearing. The cape comes with a pouch with its own drawstring which allows you to keep the folded poncho compact when carrying it in even when wearing a hiking backpack.
