The Helikon-Tex® Defender Mk2 long sleeve shirt in Polycotton Ripstop (58% cotton, 40% polyester, 2% elastane) combines the breathability of natural fibers with increased durability and mechanical flexibility. The front is based on a full button placket with a collar that stabilizes the positioning at the neck. The pocket layout includes two patch chest pockets with Velcro flaps and two flat napoleon pockets fastened with YKK® zippers, concealed in vertical cuts.
Underarm ventilation panels improve air exchange in hot zones. The regular cut maintains freedom of movement and compatibility with a carry belt and lightweight gear. A loop for hanging goggles has been placed on the trim.
The 155 gsm fabric reduces drying time, while the Ripstop structure increases tear resistance. Care recommendations stipulate washing at 30 °C, without bleaching, tumble-drying or dry-cleaning; ironing not recommended. Temperature range 10-18 °C according to manufacturer's classification; model assigned to Law Enforcement and Urban lines.
