Spyderco - Para Military™ 2 G-10 Digital Camo / Black Blade Folder Knife - C81GPCMOBK2
Made of corrosion-resistant, mechanically stress-resistant American powder steel CPM S30V with the addition of carbon, chromium and vanadium, hardness 58-59 HRC. This unique steel is designed for the production of high quality blades and knives, manufactured by Crucible Inc.
Compression-Lock - (similar to Liner-Lock) patented by Spyderco (made in USA) head lock mechanism. Extremely durable, provides extreme strength and ease of use. On the back of the handle, it protects the knife against unintentional closing. When releasing the lock, the fingers are not in the path of the folding head.
Head - laser cut with modified Clip Point profile, 3.7 mm thick, matte non-reflective DLC (Diamond Like Coating) coating. The Plain smooth blade has a Full Flat Grind that increases cutting properties and reduces the weight of the knife. The enlarged 14 mm round SpyderHole cut-out (Spyderco patent) allows the knife to be opened even in the glove. The corrugated thumb ramp and the Finger Choil (profiled index finger cut between the handle and the cutting edge) increase the control of the knife.
Handle - non-slip textured, non-slip cladding in military digital camouflage. Made of G-10 plastic (durable, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals) screwed to steel liners using torx screws. The folder is equipped with a metal clip that can be fixed in four planes (up/down, right/left) - 4-way clip positions. Enlarged lanyard hole at the back of the clip for pulling a leash or safety line.
