FOX - Knife FKMD Predator II SP2F Forprene Folder - FX-446 B
The folder has double protection against accidental closing of the blade. A solid Liner-Lock with a notch under the finger and a so-called L.A.W.K.S.® (Lake And Walker Knife Safety) lock on the back of the blade.
Blade - 4 mm thick with Spear Point profile, covered with black, scratch-resistant, matt non-reflective PTFE coating. Made of Austrian Böhler-Uddeholm's N690Co stainless steel, high carbon steel with cobalt additive for structural uniformity. Hardened blade in the 58-60 HRC range. The Plain type smooth blade has a Hollow Grind for effective cutting. The Thumb Stud on both sides makes it easy to open the blade quickly even when wearing gloves.
Grip - non-slip textured scales made of Forprene thermoplastic elastomer (high resistance to abrasion and chemicals), guarantee a firm grip even with wet hands. A textured thumb ramp on the back of the handle and a profiled cut under the index finger make it easier to control the knife. The Deep Carry metal clip facilitates deep storage of the knife in the pocket and allows it to be carried in the tip-up position (tip up, right/left).
