Extremely long 228 mm rods (not found in other manufacturers' sharpening kits), allow to sharpen most of the knives, including kitchen knives. They match the Gauntlet Select (#603F) and Premium (#603FCBN) cutting kits from Spyderco, the manufacturer of the best sharpening systems. Oval, embossed with regular grains of boron nitride bound with ceramic material, they collect steel to a much greater extent than diamond rods.
