Herbertz Solingen - Karambit Titanium 80 mm - 201314
Karambit - a type of knife that was born in Indonesia, with roots dating back to Malaysia and the Philippines. It is characterized by an inverted handle with an opening for the index finger. The rounded shape of the blade is very effective in cutting - the blade imitates the way a tiger's claw tears - piercing and cutting. It is used as a working knife, a martial arts knife (Self Defence and Martal Arts) and as a defence knife if necessary.
Blade - 3 mm thick with aggressive Hawkbill profile, covered with scratch resistant, non-reflective Titanium Coated. The wedge is made of 54-56 HRC hardened AISI 420 stainless steel, resistant to corrosion, crushing and cracking. Rounded blade shape is characterized by great efficiency and speed of cutting. The Hawkbill profile imitates the way the eagle's claws tear (puncture and simultaneous cutting). Plain smooth blade with an ultra-thin tip and excellent curvature for maximum cutting performance. The longitudinal thumb hole allows a quick opening of the wedge. Robust Liner-Lock.
Handle - non-slip textured stainless steel cladding with Titanium Coated matt finish. Profiled fingertip cuts at the bottom of the handle increase the comfort and security of grip even with wet hands. The metal clip makes it easy to carry the knife in the tip-down position. The end of the handle is finished with a rounded polished ring-shaped head (finger ring) allowing for traditional knife techniques - it makes it easy to quickly turn the knife around the finger in the head opening.
