Dragon GRS Evolution is an up-to-date version of the popular Dragon airgun from Norica. This model is especially recommended for people beginning their adventure with recreational shooting, as well as for users looking for a durable and reliable air rifle with above-average parameters in its class. The high-standard construction allows shooting at longer distances.
The handguard of the airgun is made of durable polymer. Dragon has a Monte Carlo style cheek pad on both sides that facilitates right and left handed shooting as well as the use of higher mount optics. The stock of the airgun is has a rubber non-slip foot that reduces recoil when shooting.
The airgun is designed to shoot pellets caliber 4.5 mm diabolo type with an initial velocity of up to 250 m/s. The high power and 455 mm long threaded barrel allows shooting at longer distances. The barrel is equipped with a black anodized aluminum cover for increased strength as well as protection against mechanical damage such as bending caused by falling. Shooting at longer distances requires precise aiming, which is why in this model the manufacturer did not install iron sights, but only an 11 mm rail for mounting a scope (spotting scope to be purchased separately).
The Dragon GRS Evolution features the GRS gas spring system, which is tensioned by classic barrel break. The use of the system improves the culture of the airgun, improves accuracy and reduces recoil force. The Gas Ram System works on the principle of a pneumatic cylinder that compresses the gas mixture in the cylinder when the barrel is drawn. The GRS system makes loading easier for the user because it requires less force than standard piston/spring systems. Additional advantages of the GRS system include: reduced vibration during firing, reduced firing noise and extended air system life.
Norica focuses on user safety, which is why an automatic safety has been placed in the airgun, which is activated each time the Dragon is loaded. It is released by pushing the catch or the lever, which is located just in front of the trigger. This solution reduces the risk of an uncontrolled shot.
The Dragon GRS Evolution is equipped with an integrated sound suppressor, which reduces the noise during the shot.
