The knife was developed for every day carrying and use for self-defense. It combines small size, durable construction, and great comfort of use. The Pentagon XR knife is a very good choice to add to the EDC set and complement the tactical equipment. A durable construction is the basis of an effective self-defense knife
The blade is made of stainless steel, coded CTS XHP, hardened and cryogenically treated. It is covered with black titanium nitride, which protects it against corrosion and reduces glare. Spear point blade with a groove has a smooth cutting edge. It is solid, elegant, and effective.
The handle is made of G10 material, glass-epoxy laminate, characterized by high physical and temperature resistance as well as lightness. The fine but clear pattern on the surface and the notches on the edges improve the grip and help with wet or muddy hands. Profiling for the index finger and ribbing under the thumb improves the comfort of use and the movements. There is a belt clip on the grips for attaching to the belt or to the tactical vest. It can be dismantled and transferred to the other side.
A solid lock for safety during work
The knife has a XR locking mechanism. It is opened in three ways. The first is the flipper, which in the extended position acts as a cross-guard and prevents the fingers from sliding over the cutting edge. The other is a double-sided sliding button. The third is a double-sided peg on the blade. All methods allow you to open the knife with one hand, depending on your preferences. The dimensions of the elements allow to conveniently operate it with tactical gloves on.
