Silva Classic is a plate compass perfect for learning and basic use of map navigation. Placing the dial on a transparent base plate allows direct map work and directional determination according to the SILVA 1-2-3 method.
The model is equipped with a rotating capsule with an applied declination scale, which allows you to set the direction correctly with respect to magnetic north. The graduations on the plate allow measuring distances on the map in the most common scales. A detachable safety lanyard makes it easy to use the compass in the field and allows you to mount the compass to a hiking backpack.
Attention: The lanyard for the compass is included in the back of the package.
