Folding Knife Frontrunner from Kershaw with a blade made of D2 carbon steel. Making the blade from this material makes it wear-resistant, due to the steel's hardness in the 59-60 HRC range. The Clip Point profile blade is extended by a flipper mechanism based on KVT ball bearings, which ensures smooth opening of the knife.
The blade profile features significant capabilities during camp work and has a smooth cutting edge. The working surface has been finished using the Stonewash method, which gives it a matte appearance by abrasive treatment with ceramic balls. This also affects the appearance of the blade during use, as any scratches are less visible.
What sets the Kershaw Frontrunner apart is its industrial design. The handle is made of stainless steel with a minimalist style, which resembles pieces of metal arranged in a pattern of connected pieces. A Frame Lock, based on the knife's design, made of G10 polymer laminate, is responsible for securing the blade. A deep clip is attached to the bottom of the handle, which allows the knife to be carried in the pocket of tactical pants.
