The Silva Terra Ranger S compass with mirror and aiming hole allows you to see the point and read the compass dial at the same time, making it easier to navigate accurately. The REVO polymer body provides resistance to damage and weather conditions. A rubber grip around the capsule increases grip control during use.
A declination scale inside the capsule allows compensation for local magnetic differences, and photoluminescent markers improve visibility in low light. Map scales in millimeters, as well as standard 1:25 000 and 1:50 000 divisions, allow quick reading of distances on a map. The compass is compatible with the Silva 1-2-3 system, and a detachable lanyard with a safety clasp makes it easy to carry and allows attachment to a hiking backpack.
