PDW50 pistol that shoots .50 caliber bullets from Vesta Defense. It is powered by a CO₂ 12g capsule placed in the grip, threaded to the cap, a light knock of which will pierce the capsule. This means that the device can be stored with an unpierced capsule until the need for use arises. The power does not exceed 17 J, making the gun available without a permit.
The magazine can be loaded with several types of bullets: polymer, rubber, metal or pepper powder. The magazine has a detachable spring, which makes it easy to load the gun with bullets. Accidental firing is prevented by a safety integrated into the trigger, which, when pressed, releases the lock. The rail located under the barrel makes it possible to mount a weapon flashlight or laser sight.
When the cap is punched, the gun informs the user of the pressure in the system by extending a small pin. This pin can be pushed in to independently empty the device of any remaining CO₂ in the system. Included with the gun, the user receives a spare O-ring, the replacement of which will maintain a high level of leakage. Texturing throughout the handle helps you to grip the gun.
