The Doublecross Compact flashlight for pistols from VipeRay is designed for mounting on a Picatinny/Weaver rail. This model features a Cree Q5 LED that generates a light output of up to 200 lumens. The user can simultaneously use the flashlight as well as the laser illumination. A strobe mode is also available. To realize the full potential of the device, it is advisable to use a compatible gun holster.
The flashlight can be operated using two symmetrically placed sets of buttons. Where the different modes from on to off are switched by a single press of the respective button. The strobe mode is available last on both the flashlight and the laser, the third and second modes respectively. The flashlight's body is milled from 6061 T-6 aluminum and finished with an anodized finish.
The flashlight uses a single CR123 battery for power, which is replaced by unscrewing the head on the front. In addition, a rechargeable RCR123 type 16340 battery with a voltage of more than 3 volts can be used.
