The Si-SMC-COMP-S compensator mounts directly to the SMC Alpha MKII with a 3.9" barrel. The S version compensator model does not significantly increase the size of the gun, so it can still be carried comfortably in a holster. The hardware reduces barrel recoil and toss due to the widened bore, which eliminates contact with the internal chassis system.
The case is made of S45C steel and coated with QPQ for corrosion and heat resistance. Installation is done with a single hand-tightened screw or a flathead screwdriver, so the compensator can be attached without professional tools. It does not require the use of a threaded barrel. Installation of the compensator does not require permanent modifications to the weapon.
